Before entering the acting world, Parineeti Chopra was working with YRF in the marketing and communications division. Filmmaker Maneesh Sharma spotted Parineeti’s acting potential when she auditioned for her debut in 2011 film LADIES VS RICKY BAHL under the YRF banner. She won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Her display of zestful and natural acting in films like ISHAQZAADE (2012), SHUDDH DESI ROMANCE (2013), KILL DIL (2014) & MERI PYAARI BINDU (2017) helped her garner admiration both critically and commercially. She made her singing debut in the film MERI PYAARI BINDU (2017) with the song ‘Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin’ which received an overwhelming response. She has also appeared in many mainstream Hindi films alongside. Her film SANDEEP AUR PINKY FARAAR (2021) features Arjun Kapoor in the lead role and is directed by Dibakar Banerjee.
