Determination, beauty and ambition define Manushi Chhillar. The ethereally gorgeous actress made her Hindi film debut with Yash Raj Films’ biggest historical Samrat Prithviraj in 2022. She essayed the role of Princess Sanyogita.


Manushi Chhillar has had a blessed childhood and youth with doting parents in Delhi and a meritorious education. A student of the prestigious St Thomas’ School in the capital, Manushi studied for a year at Miranda House, a top college of Delhi University before pursuing a degree in medicine. She has learnt the ropes of acting during workshops at India’s most respected drama school, the National School of Drama. Representing Haryana, Manushi won the coveted Miss India crown after she was discovered by the biggest media organisation of India, The Times of India group. She was groomed by the organisation during her journey to also become Miss World in 2017. Manushi brought home the Miss World crown back to India after 17 years.


During her Miss World run, Manushi has actively spoken up for menstrual hygiene, representing the cause at key events and also taking it to the public in different places. In Haryana, her home state, Manushi also became the face of Anaemia Free Haryana and also started her own initiative Project Shakti - that provides free sanitary pads for rural women in various cities of India.


A committed humanitarian, Manushi has travelled across the world for special causes centered on the welfare of women. Be it Indonesia, China, UK or France, she has made an impact at charity events, sporting events and conversations of thought leaders centered on welfare and social development. She recently joined hands with UNICEF for two of their campaigns – first one being raising awareness on Covid-19 pandemic and the second one was for World Menstrual Hygiene Day.


Manushi's surreal grace and looks have charmed the nation for sure as she was also voted as the 'Times Most Desirable Woman of India'. She is a trained Kuchipudi dancer, and has trained under legendary dancers Raja and Radha Reddy and Kaushalya Reddy.


Young, smart and a millennial that has made India proud, Manushi is keen to act in varied and mainstream Hindi films.
