Vaani Kapoor, earlier an elite model moved to acting with a stint in television, till she was signed up by Yash Raj Films in lead roles. Making her debut in Hindi Cinema with the YRF movie SHUDDH DESI ROMANCE in 2013, Vaani Kapoor immediately won over critics and audiences. In this fresh, young, feel-good romantic film, Vaani stood out for her elegance and easy comfort on the big screen. She also played the lead role in YRF’s AAHA KALYANAM (2014) - Tamil remake of BAND BAAJA BAARAAT (2010) film.

Vaani Kapoor also starred in the Aditya Chopra directed film BEFIKRE (2016) opposite Ranveer Singh and also featured in the action blockbuster WAR (2019), alongside Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. She also plays a lead role in SHAMSHERA (2021) alongside Ranbir Kapoor.
