Sanaya Irani made her acting debut in a supporting role with YRF’s blockbuster film FANAA (2006). She portrayed the role of Zooni’s (Kajol) friend named Mehbooba. The film starred Aamir Khan and Kajol in lead roles and was directed by Kunal Kohli. She went on to become a popular television actress, thereafter.
