Gauahar Khan, earlier a proficient model, made her acting debut under the YRF banner in a supporting role in the film ROCKET SINGH – SALESMAN OF THE YEAR (2009) directed by Shimit Amin. She was one of the office colleagues known as Koena Sheikh. She also portrayed an essential role in Habib Faisal’s action romantic film ISHAQZAADE (2012) in which her acting and dance skills gained a positive reception. She was known as Chand Baby in the film.
