Dilip Naik made his directorial debut under the YRF banner with the film NAKHUDA in the year 1981 starring Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Raj Kiran, Swaroop Sampat, Madan Puri & Bharat Kapoor. Before taking up direction, he assisted the iconic filmmaker Yash Chopra in various films like DAAG (1973), KABHI KABHIE (1976) and DOOSARA AADMI (1977) among others.
