MERE DAD KI MARUTI (2013) produced under the Y-Films banner was Ashima Chibber’s debut as a director. She also co-wrote its screenplay with Pooja Desai and Neeraj Udhwani. Before her directorial debut, she was an assistant director for the cult sports film CHAK DE INDIA (2007) and has also directed a Y-Films comedy-drama web series called LADIES ROOM (2016).
