YRF has entered into an agreement with The Walt Disney Studios
, world-renowned leaders in family entertainment, to exclusively create a series of animation films in the Indian language. The collaboration marks the first time for both companies to enter a co-production to produce films in India. The first film to be co-produced in this alliance was 'Roadside Romeo'
(released in October 2008).
2008's last release 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' (A Match Made in Heaven)
which was Aditya Chopra's third directorial venture after eight years, has been the highest grossing film of all-time for both YRF and India's superstar, Shahrukh Khan.
2009's release 'New York'

In November 2011, Uday Chopra announced the formation of YRF Entertainment, a Hollywood-based production and financing company focused on developing and producing feature films for the US and international marketplace. The company is launched and funded by Yash Raj Films.
YRF Entertainment is joining forces with Pierre-Ange Le Pogam of Stone Angels to produce and finance the upcoming Nicole Kidman vehicle, “Grace of Monaco”. The film, to be directed by Olivier Dahan (“La Vie En Rose”), starts production in South of France. YRF Entertainment’s development head, Jonathan Reiman, will serve as executive producer, along with the film’s writer, Arash Amel. Inferno is currently selling foreign rights to the film starting at the Cannes Film Festival. The Weinstein Company (TWC) has acquired the US distribution rights of this film, which is set to have a 27th December 2013 limited release based on the model the company used for the Academy Award winning “Iron Lady”.
YRF Entertainment is also producing and financing "The Longest Week". Written and directed by Peter Glanz, the movie stars Jason Bateman, Olivia Wilde, and Billy Crudup. Uday Chopra is producing with Neda Armian. Exec Producers are, Jonathan Reiman, Chris Marsh, Stone Douglass, Taylor Materne.
YRF Entertainment has also optioned “Seducing Ingrid Bergman”, a novel by Chris Greenhalgh, which dramatizes the real-life affair between the actress Ingrid Bergman and the war photographer Robert Capa. It is one of the greatest undiscovered love stories of the twentieth century. The epic, star-crossed romance of a real-life Casablanca between war photographer Robert Capa and screen legend Ingrid Bergman - two legendary figures whom destiny brought together but fate would try to keep apart, in a sweeping love affair from Paris to Hollywood during World War 2, the Cold War and Hollywood's darkest hour of the McCarthy witch-hunts. The script is near completion and other details will soon be revealed as and when the Director and Cast are locked.

With the growing popularity of home viewing of films through DVDs and VCDs, the YRF catalogue is the most popular. DVDs are released and marketed all over the world through the UK, USA and UAE offices. 'YRF Home Entertainment'
has also launched DVD and VCD titles for the Indian market, through major stores across India and is the label most in demand.
Additionally, YRF has acquired over a 100 titles of classic Indian films of banners like R.K. Films [the creations of Raj Kapoor] and B.R. Films [the creations of B.R.Chopra]. These are released under the ‘Forever Classics’ series of ‘Yash Raj Films Home Entertainment’.
