Sanjeev Kohli steps down as CEO - continues his association with YRF as a "Senior Consultant"

After very successful 9 years as the first CEO of Yash Raj Films, Mr. Sanjeev Kohli has opted to step down from this post from 31st January 2009. However, he shall continue his association with YRF as a Senior Consultant hereafter and continue to participate in all the strategy-building exercises of the Company and be a part of its future growth.

YRF acknowledges Sanjeev Kohli's contribution towards building the Company's studio model and making YRF a renowned brand, and his leadership of a professional team.

Mr. Kohli's continued association will benefit YRF in future plans, while at the same time, he will find time to pursue some creative and cultural activities.

Mr. Kohli will continue to be a Director of YRF.

There will be no replacement for Mr. Kohli as CEO in the near future.
