The DVD of Yash Raj Films' MOHABBATEIN entered the official Germany DVD charts at Number 4.
The DVD of Mohabbatein was recently released in the mainstream German market and has been appreciated by cinema lovers there. It is indeed heartening that the Mohabbatein DVD is competing with international films like the ones highlighted below.
Produced by Yash Chopra, and directed by Aditya Chopra, ‘Mohabbatein’ ["Love Stories": 2000] was a worthy successor to Aditya’s first film ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ ["The Braveheart will take the Bride": 1995] - the longest running film in the history of Indian cinema.
Mohabbatein is the story of the battle between what the two stellar men, Narayan Shankar (Amitabh Bachchan) and Raj Aryan (Shah Rukh Khan), stand for. One stands for discipline & fear, who believes that love only leads to pain and weakness. It is only the eventual outcome of the Love Stories between six youngsters that will decide what will finally triumph. Love or Fear.
