 | TARA RUM PUM is a story that touches the heart... there is so much sentiments in the
story that it makes your heart goes out to the character. It makes you laugh, it makes
you cry and best of all the songs are super fabulous especially "Hey Shona". Rani is my all
time favourite and Saif was great as well, I saw them both in Toronto in 2005.
I must compliment
the kids for a job well done. Keep up the good work in the Yash Raj camp and can't wait to see
your next flick.

The post interval portions were straight out of life, and were very realistically made.
Acting of the lead pair and their children was very convincing.
Once again, YRF has done what it does best - making beautiful emotional films.

 | TA RA RUM PUM is a story of Human spirit and it is a story of a woman, A woman with full strength as all Bengali woman has. And Rani is so perfect and awesome in this role.
She played this role with all her effort and sincerity that it is beautifully portrayed. It is the story of a woman who can manage all the barriers with a smile which has come in her family and she is able to manage all the obstacles and save her family. As Rani truly said that she gets all the enthusiasm from her mother to represent this character. The total film is very interesting and emotional and YRF has done with its best.
A Beautiful story of a beautiful Family.
As I love Rani from her very first film, I just want to say that she is brilliant and she proves it in all her films.
Congratulations to Yash Raj Films and the total Team of TA RA RUM PUM for bringing us a wonderful movie.

 | I thought this was a really great action-packed movie in terms of car racing for Hindi Cinema, as this sort of thing has never been explored before. So 10 points to that, I really enjoyed it. It was almost like watching a Hollywood flick. The ending was really great. I should say it was what I kinda hoped for, but never quite expected. But it turned out that it was what I never expected. I can presume how it will end anyway, but just not the way it did (Im talking about the car race here).
The film overall was really entertaining, and Im glad that Sid didnt put too much unnecessary elements into the film. There were humors here and there, but that was pretty much it. The film was more concentrating on the plot and didnt dwell on something unimportant too long. So it wasnt dragged on.
The hero-meets girl part was classic in my opinion, like everyone says "old wine in new bottle" or something rather..it didn’t bother me much. Because this wasn’t the main plot, so I think they wanted to keep it simple. So there wasn’t too much hassle or too much seduction going on for the romance to begin. It was nice and sweet. I really liked the beginning where they first met, and how she was so obsessed with her iPod and can’t stop asking for $50 although one might question what kind of a coincidence that the hero keeps bumping into the same girl every now and then. But it is New York, and the chances are you are most likely to bump into a hot guy or a sexy girl and happens to be the same person all the time. So again, it didnt bother me.
The musics were great. I actually loved each and every one of them. It blends well with the scenes. Rani looks really hot and sexy in Hey Shona, and not to mention Ab To Forever, esp where they get wet and all at the end. The other songs which involved the kids are really sweet and cute.
Speaking of hot and sexy, which brings me to my next point...Rani is definitely smokin hot in those minis (which reminds me that she would probably dress like that if she had to play Pretty's role in KANK, minus the fringes). Maybe the fringes didnt really suit her face (I would still prefer her ol hair-down style), but it was something different to suit the different phase in her life. But because she is beautiful anyway, to me whatever she does with herself is still gonna look good at the end of the day. As for her weight, she looked natural to me, and definitely looked slim in those skirts. And lastly, as for her acting, the woman is no doubt flawless. The role was too easy for her and it comes out naturally. She didnt even have to try too hard to show affection and emotional effect to the audience.
I don’t agree when ppl said that she tends to choose films involving crying, emotional so that the audience will sympathize with her and all that crap. I don’t see her like that in this film. Of course she has to be emotional on some level, in fact, every other actors do in any other films, but her character was more of a supportive wife who loves her husband and her family and always stand by them no matter what difficulties they face. She may as well leave her husband because her father is rich anyway, so why bother? But she didn’t, and she took responsibility from her decision to marry him in the first place and maybe wasn’t a wise one when she never finished her degree first. She didn’t even accept the money her father offered to help. I guess what they were trying to tell us is that people make mistakes in their lives and perhaps made some unwise decisions, but as we grow older, we learn from mistakes and experiences teach us to become a better person at the end of the day, which was the end of the climax in the film.
Saif has really grown as an actor. He looks more natural this time and definitely better than Hum Tum. He's my next favourite actor after SRK. And in my opinion, SRK being the first, he’s got the next best chemistry with Rani, much much better than Abhi. Saif has got a nice body, but I think he needs to lose some weight too, as his upper body seems a bit expanding.
So I think in a nutshell, the film is entertaining, well-written, action-packed, cute sexy and hot, great musics with a little hip hop, great actors, a family drama with some romance, basically a feel-good movie. It wont bore you, unless you're ugly, with weird teeth It’s definitely a film you'll like to watch again and again just for the sake of it. It’s a must see film even for non-bollywood fans as the car race is definitely worth watching and I guarantee they'll love bollywood afterwards.

 | I loved the film "Ta Ra Rum Pum" throughout from the scene 1 till end. The racing scenes were superb as far as Indian cinema is concerned I have never seen such a car racing scene Indian film in my life. My sister's son loved the film especially that Cartoon song and car racing scenes.
Hats off & congratulations to the entire team of Yash Raj Films for bringing one more beautiful film.
Also watched the trailer of your forthcoming film "Jhoom Barabar Jhoom", hopefully this too will be one of the rocking films. Awaiting to see this film too.
