 | | I saw this movie as a curiosity but was totally drawn in by the music, acting and direction. I have since since seen it 4 times and it was one of my favorite movies of this summer. Ranbir Kapoor is a great actor and his character was a very likeable one. All of the female leads were terrific and brought so much variety with their performance. As for the locations and photography, all were a perfect execution of the countries they represented. I can't wait to purchase the dvd and share it with my friends. | My favorite Deepika & Ranbir Kapoor, both are real rock star.
I just love this movie, Bachna Ae Haseeno , excellent music and perfect characters ! The cast, choreography & cameraman are wonderful.
I liked movie very much specially because it has fun, romantic flicks, love story and especially the locations.
I like your movies very much especially yash raj films, I never miss any movie The movie is brilliant in all its and keeps you entertained all through. Deepika and Ranbir have performed absolutely well...
Bachna Ae was a fantastic, superb script, and amazing film! The movie was a perfect touch of romance and comedy. I would like to thanks Ranbir Kapoor for this outstanding performance in the movie...movie was like never ending.... Bipasha, Minissha and Deepika were beautiful and great in their perspective roles! And a wonderful performances ever...I would highly recommend this film to every one who r in love.
The songs are really awesome; especially the rocking song was KHUDA JAANE. I like the concept of DDLJ which he applied in the movie it was nice to hear the lovely tune and the most important thing is the fingers of ranbir kapoor's which he played according to tune. I would watch this movie again and again.
The song small town girl in which she get bored, she say to dance ranbir, really I appreciate the steps perform is wonderful I honestly like it.
The movie was completely awesome...fabulous...and mind blowing!!! Really in the movie Ranbir Kapoor Rocks!!!

| Well... What's special is I watched the movie on my birthday alongwith friend. I usually like some of the romantic flicks made by YRF.
The movie is brilliant in all its and keeps you entertained all through. Deeps and Ranbir have performed absolutely well... and no second thoughts about it.
The couple has put up a brilliant show and have portrayed their respective roles very well.

Im from Pakistan but currently living in Qatar which is a part of middle east. I was not so found of Ranbhir Kapoor before BAH but after seeing it, i can easly predict that he will be the next Raj for YRF
Good job and now Kapoors are back in business.

| | Today(29/08/08) again I watched Baeh at Kolkata Inox for the 3rd time....And still I can watch it for more times again & again..The superb characters,Aditya Chopra's great story,Siddharth Anand's brilliant directions,Anvita Dutt Guptan's fine dialogues,awesome locations,excellent performances,Ahmed Khan's A1 chreography,Devika Bhagat's well screenplay,Aki Narula's fab styling,Vishal-Shekher's wonderful songs etc.etc.--these are the things which make me excited to go to watch it again & again...The casting of the film is perfect..Ranbir Kapoor has made each and every scene remarkable in this film!!His performance was Better than the Excellent,completely flawless..Bipasha Basu has given her best performance till date..Minnisha Lamba acted very well..Deepika Padukone's performance was gorgeous..Hiten was great in his role...Overall an Super-Excellent film...And One of My Favourite Films!! | I am a hardened fan of YRF Films. Recently the critics and all have not been in favour of you but you guys are doing a rocking thing. We as NRI Audiences are loving it. I loved Aaja Nachle, Tara Rum Pum and now Bachna Ae Haseeno. It is a wonderful film. The combination of young talent that is Ranbir, Deepika, Bipasha the captain Adi and Siddharth along with Music Genius Vishal & Shekhar has done wonders to the film. What location, Fantabulous music GRREEEAAATT film.

| Frankly speaking, I had no expectation that how the film would be when I've first entered the theater, but truly the film touched my soul. Yes, the movie proved itself that 'Desi' casanova's aren't like the Hollywood casanova's and indeed those people have a heart, which repents after a certain period of time of their lives.
Overall the movie is a total BLOCKBUSTER, yes thanks to the genius Mr.Adi Chopra and of course, the one and only Ranbir Kapoor. It was well directed by Siddharth Anand, after such a long time he did justice with his actors! Minisha Lamba was just impeccable, she was so adorable in the screen that I've prayed for her wholeheartedly for her success. Bips wah apka kya kehna! Truly, she is a superstar and your brown eyes are so innocent that anybody could tell that after seeing your eyes. You're truly keeping the pride of Bengal. Deepika was just okay compared to the other people. I agree that she is a wonderful actress, but somehow there was something missing, and I don't blame her at all, because the reason was the script.

Everything in the film i.e. the music, the cinematography, the locations,the story, the background score and acting of each actor was great. Ranbir kapoor is really a star. Khuda jaane was the best saong i have ever seen in a film. I really loved the film. | | My friends and I went to watch BAH on 08/19/08 in Houston, Texas. We did not go with very high expectations. We knew that we would have a nice locals, nice houses, nice outfits and good music but I think I was pleasantly surprise by the story and all performances, especially Ranbir’s. We enjoyed this movie a great deal…it was a fun ride. We laughed a lot and at times there were some emotional scenes as well. We all thought that our teenage kids would have definitely enjoyed this movie. We have recommended them to go and check it out…There were barely any good movies this year except Jodha Akbar in the beginning of the year, so finally we saw a decent movie. Now we are really waiting for Shahrukh’s RBDJJJ

I loved the parts where Ranbir is buying the condoms in the grocery store and when he tells Bipasha he can't produce kids. The songs rocked. I loved them especially lucky Boy and Khuda Jaane. I loved how the concept of DDLJ was applied in the movie, it was great to hear the lovely tune.This is by far the best movie of 2008! It was a complete entertainer till the last reel. | | Today again I went to watch BAH for 2nd time. And again I must say the film was Excellent,Awesome,Superb,Great!! Thanks to Aditya Chopra for writing such a lovely story & producing it & two thumps up for the director Siddharth Anand for such a brilliant direction. I have my Favourite Films list. The list contains-DDLJ,HumTum,Saathiya,Veer-Zaara,Salaam Namaste etc,and recently I have included Bachna Ae Haseeno in this list! I have started waiting for its DVD release and to own it forever. | I loved the movie! I’ve loved both of Siddharth Anand’s movies so far but this one easily ranks right at the top of his filmography... it’s a ‘complete’ film! From the first frame to the last frame, I enjoyed every moment. For Yash Raj Films, also, I’m hoping this brings back the celebration times for them...because it had all the typical ingredients of a Yash Raj movie and yet had something unique to offer too!
Performances:
Ranbir Kapoor is outstanding. He’s amazing, he’s stunning, and he’s definitely a superstar... I loved him to death when I saw Saawariya and now I love him more than ever before! His performance as Raj Sharma is so natural and so cute!! His character is not that of a perfect guy, but he makes the flawed Raj seem so lovable that you just want to hug him (well I did haha)! He carried the movie on his shoulders and he’s proven himself to be a remarkable actor for a second time already... I can’t believe this is just his second performance (but then his debut performance was far superior to what’s expected from a debutante too)... It was awesome to see him in such a different role to the last he portrayed and yet still deliver such a perfect performance, hats off to Ranbir!! He’s a born actor and a born superstar!!!
Minisha Lamba is adorable. She’s so cute and I really wish she gets more good roles/movies! Her chemistry with Ranbir was adorable.... I think from all the actresses in this movie, she undoubtedly shared the best chemistry with him. She was really nice in her flashback sequence and did complete justice to her character... In her re-entry, she had a few moments where she went overboard with the emotions, but all in all she churns out a fantastic performance... She lived Mahi, a character I could scarily relate to, more than believably and she definitely impressed.
Bipasha Basu delivers a flawless performance. She handles all the emotions with élan and there’s not a single moment she goes overboard or underplays – she’s simply perfect in the role and it’s definitely the best performance of all the girls in the film. She looks gorgeous (except in the ‘Lucky Boy’ song, where she looks a little too masculine lol) and acts great – I loved her as Radhika/Shreya!
Deepika Padukone’s performance as Gayatri is the weakest performance of the film. She looks pretty and it’s really nice to watch her... she’s got a very warm smile... but her performance this time round was just about okay
Kunal Kapoor was awesome in his special appearance. It was great to see him and he acted very naturally, as always. All the other actors did justice to their roles too.
Songs:
I love all the songs in the film and almost all of them are pictured well. My order of preference would definitely be: Jogi Mahi, Aahista Aahista, Khuda Jaane, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Small Town Girl...
Tracks/Story:
Raj-Mahi’s track was my favourite in both the first and second half of the film. I could really relate to Mahi’s character... I think I’m one of those girls obsessively love in DDLJ and waiting for DDLJ’s Raj to really come LOL... I’ve even considered going on a Euro tour LOL! I loved how their story intentionally spoofed on DDLJ... Their flashback was the cutest part of the whole film, definitely my favourite moment of ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’! Their track (with Jogi added) in the second half was also brilliant and typically “Yash Raj” hehe, I felt really ‘at home’ as a YRF-fan watching their story.
I really enjoyed Raj-Radhika’s track in the first half... In the second half also their part (Raj-Shreya) was cute but initially I found it a bit strange when Radhika ‘forgave’ him at the airport...at first I thought it was super-odd for her to land up at the airport so conveniently and wrap up their story – it seemed rush... but then when she started talking about how she’s stuck on the August 8th moment and can’t move on in her life until she forgives him, everything started to make sense... That gave a really nice end to their track and I loved it.
The Raj-Gayatri track of the film was the weakest of the film and Deepika’s mediocre performance didn’t help here. Gayatri’s character made an interesting basis for a story but the actual story shared between her and Raj seemed rushed and half-baked... They had some very cute moments but I wasn’t convinced that either of them actually loved each other!
Overall:
I loved ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ even more than I love ‘Salaam Namaste’ and ‘Ta Ra Rum Pum’, so I’d say a job VERY WELL DONE as far as Siddharth Anand is concerned... I’m very happy with what I saw and I await the DVD because the film definitely has repeat value and I look forward to watching it again and again.
