I went to watch this movie last night.....and despite the movie having a lot of songs....I was really happy with the whole product....the songs where placed in the movie as it was part of the story and not as something that should be added just because it is a Bollywood movie.....I loved the way Yash Raj Films creative team was able to incorporate the song in the movie without taking any of the stamina of the movie away from the audience....and the best part was that the movie was a wholesome entertainer and got to the point....and it only took less then two and a half hours....Well the cast members....everyone one was great....especially Pretty and Abhishek....I would like to see them in more movies together....they had great chemistry.... well and to Shaad....great job once again.

I must say I am very surprised and at the same time thrilled with the movies that are coming out from the ' prestigious' and finest movie makers of Asia. Yashraj Films. Some of the recent movies have been very different and interesting attempts.

JBJ is a total timepass entertainer. I did not see it in the first couple of weeks , as I did not hear the best reviews but I must say what a huge blunder I would have made had I gone by what I read and heard and not seen the move. I now realize I missed the fun all these weeks.

JBJ is a slightly different movie (much as it sounds clichéd), I thought it would be a typical love story etc etc. I was surprised, it was hilarious and quite an entertainer, yes keep the logic and calculations at home. It is meant to be a total entertainer. The whole cast of Abhishek, Bobby, Lara, Preity, Huffy Bhai were really cool. Lara looks like a million bucks..Kelly is a lucky man ! Preity rocks as usual with her attitude, Bobby is the cool dude, the hair was good but could have been managed better. Abhishek is a ' REAL' star in the making, the soul and heart of the movie...mark my words this man will go far. He lights up the screen with his presence and simple and natural acts. I would love to see Abhishek in more greater roles and movies with Yashraj, what a talent this guy is, he is a dymanite. Yes, a tighter screenplay and would have added to the fun but nevertheless a really cool experience is what JBJ is all about..a sure watch !

Keep the show going Yashraj..the absolute entertainers of the film industry. I do know it takes a lot to go out of the box, and trust me no one can do it if Yashraj cannot...lead by example.

JBJ is a movie that is unique and Mr. Shaad Ali should not be disappointed by the reviews. JBJ rocks and all the actors gave a wonderful performance especially Abhishek Bachchan. Wow he is getting better and better. Would love to see Abhishek in a role of an angry young man. God bless the team of JBJ.

There's only one word to describe this movie...... AWESOME!!! I liked the songs, the acting, and of course the dancing! I must say that all the performances were great but the best performance from the guys of course was Abhishek and the best from the ladies was Lara Dutta!!! She completely stole Preity's spotlight, super performance from her and I hope she's in more YRF movies. That's not to say that Bobby and Preity's performances were bad, they were good. Congratulations to Shaad Ali and all the JBJ team who did wonderfully!

Now I just can't wait for it to come out on DVD to buy it.

Films are meant to entertain the public and not to teach people about how they should live their lives. This is what exactly Jhoom Barabar does to us.

This is an evasion at its best. The film makes us smile for as long as it’s duration and makes us forget the hectic life lying ahead of us. .

Thanks for the awesome entertainment.......

If I had to go by the critics, I would not have seen this movie, however, I LOVED IT! What an infectious film! Keep em' comin!

I saw “Jhoom Barabar Jhoom” and it was excellent, I became so exited tat I really want 2 congratulate Shaad 4 his class direction. I came 2 see d movie without much expectation, cos the reviews made about d movie was bad! After “Kal Ho Na Ho” I hev never heard such a beautiful composition by Shanker-Ehsaan-Loy..... The technical side was also superb, like d art direction, cinematography, choreography..i think Vaibhavi should get a national award 4 this. 'I think it is UR best film of all the three, Shaad'

Wow This Movie Was Awesome I think by far the best Indian flick I’ve seen. Abhishek, Preity, Bobby and Lara were all amazing. They kind of reinvented themselves through this movie. Now I See Why Lara Was Miss World, Wow I’ve already seen it twice and I plan to watch it again. Shaad Ali Thank You for a great movie

I can’t express my feelings for the movie it was amazing. Thanks to YRF for bringing such busters for us all, thanks very much.

We ENJOYED the movie. After reading bad reviews, we were almost sure that we were making the RIGHT CHOICE. Says a lot about our critics, right? The movie was FUN from start to finish. Let’s face it…. Jhoom Barabar Jhoom is Goofy! But it is SUPERBLY goofy. It is a very very intelligently written and directed movie. I haven’t liked most of the Yashraj offerings lately… But this was SUPER. Lara was a REVELATION. I thoroughly enjoyed watching her on screen. None of the movies she has done before this have used her potential even 1%. Please give her better roles. She is wonderful. Bobby Deol – I never thought I’d like him, EVER. If there was one hero, I wasn’t prepared to watch onscreen, it was this guy. But this movie changed it all. Great job Bobby! Preity – was very good and perfectly funny. Abhishek – AWESOME. He ‘got class’ man! ? But but but, if you ask me who was the scene stealer, it was Piyush Mishra. I don’t remember seeing him in a comic role. But as ‘Huffy Bhai’, he was fantabulous. I really wish he gets better and better roles.

There were areas which could have been better. The music was a big letdown. BIG TIME! What saved the music were, the lyrics and what we saw onscreen. (The title song was exceptional, though) Gulzar was MAGIC, as usual. Vaibhavi, very good. The movie could have been shorter. The songs, ‘ticket to hollywood’ and ‘kiss of love’ … I felt, were not necessary. But that is just my opinion. Most of the reviewers said that the movie doesn’t have a soul… it doesn’t need one. It was full timepass….

Before I end my feedback, I would like to congratulate Shaad. I thought ‘Saathiya’ and ‘Bunty aur Babli’ were very nice. But this movie was AWESOME. I simply loved it. Anurag Kashyap and Tigmanshu Dhulia were credited with story development… wow! I wasn’t expecting this story to be developed by them, I always thought they were more into serious stuff! And yeah, Shaad, I enjoyed ALL the ‘references’ throughout the movie. Keep going….

Watching "Jhoom Barabar Jhoom" was a magnificent decision on my part. It was so wonderfully made and had some really good comedy. I liked all the performances but it was Preity Zinta whose performance was the best of all. Abhishek Bachchan's comic timing was impressive. Lara Dutta and Bobby Deol were the surprise quotient. Congratulations to Shaad Ali for a laugh riot. The audience was in splits throughout the movie! Music by Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy was superb, these guys never go wrong! The video of "Bol Na Halke Halke" has to be the most romantic video of the year!

Well done Yash Raj Films for giving this year's best entertainer until now!!!

Music:
I love each and every song of the film even more after watching it. There’s so much pace and life in the songs, they’re incredible to listen to and hearing them in the cinema was another experience all together! My favourite songs audio-wise are undoubtedly ‘JBJ’, ‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’ & ‘Kiss of Love’. ‘Jhoom’ and the ‘Jhoom Jam’ instrumental are brilliant too. Earlier the only songs on the album that I was not fond of were ‘Ticket To Hollywood’ and ‘Bol Na Halke’ but after watching the movie I even like those songs.

Overall:
There’s no specific story as such so JBJ is really just a fun film full of funny moments, and there are many of those great moments making JBJ a film worth watching. I have a feeling it will have a lot of repeat value and the DVD will definitely be a worthwhile buy also. It’s not the best film I’ve ever seen and to be honest it’s not even the most entertaining film, because sadly there were some boring moments, however overall it’s a good film and I really enjoyed myself watching it and I can see myself watching it again and again on DVD – can’t wait to buy the DVD!!

Just went and watched Jhoom Barabar Jhoom. I love the first time pairing of Preity and Abhishek they make a WONDERFUL onscreen pair. It would be GREAT to see them paired opposite each other again in more upcoming YRF movies. It was great to see Preity Zinta (one of the finest actresses in Bollywood at the moment) in a Yrf after 2005 slick flick Salaam Namaste and the forever living Yash Chopra classic Veer Zaara. I loved all the songs in the movie especially Bol Na Halke Halke it’s the love song of 2007. The chemistery of Preity and Abhishek in that song is beautiful.

This was an AWESOME movie!

I loved the characters and the cast... Brilliant performances by everyone, but I thought Abhishek and Lara were the best in the film! They looked adorable as a couple, and I LOVED the whole sequence in France! It was just too cute! I'd LOVE to see them as a lead pair in a Yashraj film soon!!!

Abhishek was superb as Rikki, no one else could have done a better job! He is truly one of the best actors in Bollywood today. Lara has proven herself to be a very very talented and versatile actress, and I thought that her French accent was amazing; her acting in the second half had me in splits... I would love to see more of her with YRF (and with Abhishek)!

The story, music, and choreography... All of it was so full of energy, and I loved it! The unexpected twists in the plot and the humor was great! I also thought that the dances were amazing!!!

All in all, a truly fun film, with lots of masti and dhamaal for everyone! Congratulations to Yashraj and thank you for creating yet another wonderful film!
Borna

No matter what the media say, to my family and me we love JBJ simply because it Rock, Fun Filled Entertaining Film with Awesome Music, Good Choreographer (Vaibhavi M.), Fantastic Locations and Above all the actors from Abhishek, Preity, Lara & Bobby did a very good job in enacting their role but a special mention here that Abhishek was Awesome and after Guru, this is another mind blowing performance by him. Last but not least, please tell Shaad not to be sad with the bad reviews caused he has done a brilliant job as the director and I’m waiting for his 4th film with Abhishek again
